Ten Pillars of the Church
- 1. Loving Relationship: Genuine and practical love for one another, deeply committed to caring and trusting relationships, generous in encouragement, forgiveness, compassion, and acceptance.
- 2. Building the Families: Equipping families to be households of faith, strong, stable and spiritual, thus fortifying the marriage covenant, parent-child relations, as well as joy and fulfillment in single-hood.
- 3. Holistic Care Groups: As The Living Way grows, we will be big enough to impact, and small enough to care. People are God’s priority. They will not be lost in the crowd as we care and edify one another in the Care Groups.
- 4. Serving the Poor and Needy: An unconditional, compassionate ministry to the poor and needy around us, choosing to live simply so that others may simply live.
- 5. Lifestyle Evangelism and Strategic Missions: Being a witness for Jesus both in words and in deeds, sharing our testimonies as an outflow of a life touched by the grace of God, yet also intentionally and strategically reaching out in evangelism and missions.
- 6. Passion for God: Being on fire, zealously and passionately in love with God, living our Christian faith with joy and contagious enthusiasm.

Our Pastors
Rev Joseph Tan is the Founding and Senior Pastor of The Living Way Church. He is frequently invited to minister in church camps and revival meetings all over the world. The Holy Spirit moves powerfully in these meetings with miracles, healings and release of prophetic words.
Pastor Joseph is passionate about the Great Commission. He served as a missions pastor in Taiwan for three years. He also served as a missionary in the Pacific island nation of Palau for another three years, preaching the gospel on air through powerful shortwave radio to all of China and Asia. As a gifted teacher of the Word, he also serves as guest lecturer in Bible College since the past years.
Pastor Joseph is married to Pastor Eileen and they have two sons, Barnabas and Elijah. Pastor Eileen is actively involved in various ministries in the church.
